"Melinda was able to help my nine year old’s anxiety that was preventing dental work from being done. My daughter had a bicycle accident which had led to stitches on her lip the night before the funeral of a beloved family member. Her pre-scheduled trip to the dentist within the week led to the end result of a dental visit being more traumatic than need be (she was stressed more than she would have been, the dentist misinterpreted her flinching and proceeded to say she would have to be taken to a specialist and rendered unconscious in order to work on her), and a rescheduled dental appointment (upon my insistence). I relayed our plight to Melinda who promptly suggested hypnosis – so we gave it a try. My daughter had a mere 2 sessions. We went back to the dentist and the results were amazing! When my daughter was first in the dental chair she started to look panicky, so I reminded her to say the word she was supposed to say to herself to induce relaxation; and (despite my daughter’s skepticism) she did so and then visibly relaxed in her chair. Even my daughter looked amazed at how much better she felt. The dental work was able to be done smoothly and quickly as a result; and, best of all, my daughter had accomplished what she previously thought impossible. When I had my first session with Melinda , I felt as if she had validated everything that was happening around me. She gave me tools. It was time to heal my past trauma as well as release anything that was blocking any of my chakra's in a safe and comfortable space to release.
